Crafting - imagination and creativity!

I enjoy trying different types of arts and crafts. I enjoy sewing clothes, making accessories, textile arts, home decor and quilts. Just about anything you can think of that’s put together with a needle and thread. I appreciate scraps and discarded materials as it is a great way to exercise my imagination and creativity.

From scraps that once were waste,
A new creation comes to taste,
A patchwork quilt, a scrunchie bright,
A flower pin that shines with light.

The materials that were once ignored,
Are now a thing to be adored,
A work of art, a thing of grace,
That brings a smile to every face.

With every stitch and every seam,
A new creation starts to gleam,
A symbol of hope and love,
That soars on wings like a dove.

So let us cherish every scrap,
And turn them into something that will last,
For in the things we often throw away,
Lies the beauty of a brand new day.
